Carers Allowance  This is available to anyone who has to care for someone for 35 hours or more per week.   To qualify, the individual who is being cared for must be in receipt of DLA at the middle of highest rate for personal care.  Click HERE for more information.

Social Services   Your local social services can help in a variety of ways including; putting you in touch with local carer groups, providing disability assessments (these could entitle you to extra financial assistance for child care etc..)   Contact your local social services for more information.

School Leaflet - Many of you may have had problems with getting school to understand what an eosinophillic disorder is and does.  We devised a leaflet after having problems with primary school. It is purely personal and not endorsed by any health professional, feel free to use, amend or ignore it anyway!  I have copied it from the original leaflet.  It is directed from our perspective , but some may find it of use.  Use the link on the left or click HERE. Please ensure that the leaflet is credited to FABED.
