Comment: hi our 8 yr old little boy was finally dignosed in feb this year with eosinophillic gastroenteropathy, on egg,dairy and soya free diet also takes nalcrom, losec, calcium, erythromycin, azithromycin, domperidone and picolax bowel cleanser,we are in a difficult stage where the slightest cold equals one huge flare up but you know how it is day to day is the only way to go!! we see gosh every 6 months with local consultant inbetween, also ot and physio. |

Comment: Hi Our son was diagnosed when he was 5. He is now thriving!(so long as he doesn't get a cold!)Nice to see a website. The condition needs more recondition as our son suffered as does the families. He failed to thrive. Still awaiting OT. They say children grow out of it but I think its more that children grow and learn to live and deal with it! Bowel talk is an everday conversation in our house! Laurie |

Comment: Our 8 yr old son has been diagonised with eosinophillic osphegitus last year after years of strange choking episodes and tummy aches - allergic to tree nuts and milk - advised to keep him on the milk for nutritional purposes! would like to chat to other parents to share experiences! |
