FABED is delighted to announce that as of 6 Aug 11 we were entered onto the list of registered charities with the Charities Commission.  Thank you to all our members, fundraisers and anonymous donators who have helped us achieve this much earlier than we had originally anticipated.  This was announced at the inaugural Families Day held over 27-28 Aug.  Many thanks to all those who attended and contributed to a wonderful occasion. 

Some may have noticed the odd subtle change to the layout of this site.  Please bear with us whilst we make all the changes, new additions will include a photo gallery, shop page and fundraising news and useful resources.  The message board is still available by clicking on the link on the left, which will appear on every page.

What is FABED?

We are a registered charity (1143267) set up to raise awareness of Eosinophilic conditions among the public and the medical profession through education, advocacy, creating awareness and support to families and patients / carers.  If  you would like to help FABED in any capacity, please e-mail us at info@fabed.co.uk

FABED was initially started in 2005 by the Cordell and Lucas families who between them have 5 children with EGID.  It has steadily grown to over 300 strong and you can benefit from the same advice, personal experiences and support of all the FABED family, just click HERE or on our membership page.
