Welcome to the FABED website. This UK based group is for families who are dealing with severe multiple food allergies and or drug allergies within kids or adults. Members may have been diagnosed with an eosinophilic condition ( eosinophilc gastroenteritis EG / eosinophilic oesophagitis EE or eosinophilic colitis EC ). This group also assists people who have extreme milk allergies and/or soy protein and those who are already using an elemental formula such as Neocate. The purpose of this group is support through shared experiences and information. The goal of this group is to avoid the isolation this condition often creates and thus help improve the lives of the families dealing with it. Although this site is primarily for parents/families, adults suffering with this condition are welcome to join and share. We also welcome European and International members.
We hope to raise public awareness in the United Kingdom of this illness. A number of hospitals in the UK now have the FABED poster up and we are in the process of creating a leaflet for distribution. Please use the navigation bar on the left of the page to get around the site. If your child or you are suffering with an eosinophilic disorder or have any other problems outlined above, please join our Yahoo group. Click on the message board link and you will be taken to the registration page. The group moderator will then give you access to the group. We are gaining new members all the time and by joining you will regain your sanity and learn more each day.
